Suddenly as the sun rises into the morning sky
Does someone tell a lie
One might say it was not intentional
However from the heart is its source so there can be no denial
Suddenly as a heart is broken
A another untruth can be spoken
To destroy a sacred moment in falsehood
This can surely only come from a heart that knows no good
Suddenly as a man stands to his feet
Does an army loose all heart and suffer defeat
With an arrow of mistrust
Lost souls lie tortured in the dust
Suddenly as I look at the man in the mirror
A lost moment can be seen no clearer
So I lament a great loss to my soul
But living “truly ok”, has to be my goal.
